SPEAKER

Cheyenne has been advocating to audiences about social inequities since the age of 12 years old. With her public speaking and spoken word poetry she has presented to adult and youth audiences at schools, conferences, productions, festivals, panels, weddings, and podcasts across the GTA. Some of her credits include: Brampton's Festival of Literary Diversity (FOLD), Toronto's Spur Festival, Trinidad's True Talk No Lie (TTNL) and in March of 2014, she opened for award-winning poet and actor, Carlos Andres Gomez. She attributes her natural ability to connect with audiences to the rich oral traditions and storytelling techniques of Caribbean culture.
